Hummm... I'm thinking about buying myself an electric guitar. Problem is, I don't know one bit about how to play it ^^ ! How do you reckon I shall proceed ? Take lessons or learn by myself ? And, before that, whicjh guitar should I choose ? Do someone knows a little about it ^^ ?

Do someone knows a little about it ^^ ? No, but if you ever need a singer to form a band, I'd be happy to comply ! ^^

Dandy, I'd recommend starting out with getting something cheap, like a Fender Squire Stratocaster. That way, if you find out later that you don't like playing or don't play that often, you didn't spend a wad of cash. Keep in mind that when you buy an electric, you must have more than just the guitar--you need an amp, a gig bag or case, effects pedals, plectrums, new strings every 4 months, a strap...it can get to be pretty expensive. Fortunately, you can buy (at least, in North America) a "Strat Pack" that has all of these things for a pretty reasonable price. I think I've seen them as cheap as $200 and as expensive as $250. That's a start...

That's a good question. In the states the big places are Guitar Center, Sam Ash and a famous store in NYC called Manny's Music. They could probably help you find something if not ship to you. Maybe the Fender web site as well.
