I went to both shows. They are actually really great. The recorded music is good (don't get me wrong) but doesn't do it justice compared to the live performance. The band is all star but the double drumming is incredible and J seems much more animated than I have seen him even in xiv. If you guys ever have a chance to see this you should.

After watching some clips on Youtube, I'm inclined to agree with you. This is probably some of the most honest work he's done in years, and that's probably reflected in his performances. I might just have to plan another trip to California.
