Let's keep it clean and come out swinging!  Come out swinging? lol Someone very important once said we should all "Be Nice" I feel it's one of the best rules to live by... So why should you vote for me? Well for one, I have experience being a moderator. I have been on a moderating team of a non musical forum for quite some time now. We have over 4,000 members and on any given day there are usually upwards of 200 active members posting daily. This means I am online about as much as I am awake. I have general knowledge of how behind the scenes moderation, editing, and posting work, as well as approving new members, and of course keeping the peace. I won't profess to knowing everything about Louis as I am relatively new here compared to some, But I am passionate about this band...their music as well as the band members alike. In fact most days I wake and fall asleep thinking of Louis for obvious reasons lol! As for keeping the Louis XIV fandom alive, I have not only spead the word as to how trully amazing this band is, to everyone I know, and some I don't, lol but I try and go out of my way to get pictures to post from as many local shows as I can (it's a dirty job I know ;D) I also talk all my friends into either seeing a show, joining this site or at the very least coming over to check out their website and this forum. I know at one time this site seemed small, like a family...but like any loving family, they grow larger and new members arrive, sometimes unexpectedly. I say they should all be welcomed and with open arms! It's been a bit quiet here for some time and I feel these boys deserve a bit more appreciation and attention for everything they do for us and all their hard work. Lets show them how much they mean to us and shake this place up!!! If you're with me, than you know who to vote for...  X  X ~Indi |

In April 2006 Rosie Florence Cannon stepped in to the world of forums. And what forum did she choose? The band who inspired her to go looking for the bands she now loves.... I was 17 when I first discovered Louis XIV. They were playing on "Friday Night with Jonathan Ross" and I always remember that performance of FOTLIB. It genuinely changed my life. As soon as it was done I ordered BLSAK off of Amazon and waited for the release date. That album changed me from a girl into a woman. And I don't mean sexually,(although there was definitely contribution there  ) I mean my mentally, the music I listened to was shaped by this one band. I discovered early Bowie, something I would deem a sin not to know now. It led on to my love for KOL, Noisettes, Maximo Park, Editors....the list goes on and on. So yeah, as you can see, my passion is undeniable. When it comes to spreading the word, my friends now associate me with this band. We are two peas in a pod as far as they are concerned. When people ask me what music i like, it's the first band that rolls off of my tongue. I take them to any UK gig, paying for their tickets just to ensure they have experienced the wonder of their lives shows. I think Feb 2006 at the Scala in London was a highlight for me. They are a band that have the capability to make it big. But I personally get the feeling that if they really wanted all that fame, they would have been huge by now. Hells, we all know they are capable of it! So, 531...no 532 post later and here I am. All I have to offer is me. Someone who is established, passionate and easy going. I may not have the experience, but I am fair and 100% committed to this board and this board only . So if you believe that someone with a few years under their belt on here should be your moderator, then please vote for me. I wont let you down  StaceyQ xxx |
