Hi everyone,
I thought we might have a new thread to post stuff (comments and photos etc) from the European shows which have just started.
I saw Louis in Dublin last night with the new line-up. They were absolutely superb....I know I am intensely biased and I wouldn't have expected anything less but really they were great.
I reckon the set-list was fairly similar to the one Indi put up on The Casbah thread.....I think just 2 new songs though. "Turn the Light on" was definitely the second one and is fab....I couldn't tell you the name of the first I'm afraid. From the first listen they both sounded excellent and it was very cool to hear some new material.
Shaun and Andy looked comfortable and I'm sure as the tour progresses will be even more so. I have to say it was very strange not seeing Mark and Jimmy on stage and I was quite nervous that it was not going to be right for me...but it was fine. They did not disappoint in any way - although they are both very different to watch. Shaun is far more energetic (no offense Jimmy !!)...and I did have a bit of trouble seeing Andy from where I was.
Although I suppose presumably the newbies will be returning to their respective "proper" jobs after these dates and may not be permanent Louis boys...dunno.
Jason and Brian were just fantastic as always. It was a big crowd... capacity of 13,000 I think.
I'm sorry guys I couldn't get any pictures this time. I was squished on the barrier after queuing for almost 12 hours all day outside in the freezing bloody cold and the stage was over 6ft high so not best for taking photos when you are a midget like me.
But I'm going to quite a few more shows.... ......so will try to do better.
Much luv

PS: Oh and The Killers weren't bad either - lol
