you know, covergirl makes the best colors foundation wise. clinique stopped making the shade i used, and the new one isn't quite the same. but covergirl's classic ivory fits my winter tone perfectly, its amazing.

ooooo!!! i love palmers cocoa butter. we used to use it all the time when i was little. i'll have to give alabaster a try, i really love clinique products. but i switch between brands a lot, sometimes its refreshing to have a different kind every once in a while. if only i could find some kind of blush that wouldn't rub off though! by the end of the day i'm all pasty again

hay! where was i when all of this was going down? anywho, to keep ur skin blushed all day, why don't u try pinching ur cheeks! that way, u'll have a natural blush w/o having to worry ab it being the right shade. oh, and it's free i'm very much into all natural products. they really are the way to go, girlies. all those chemicals seep into ur blood stream... i use a line called - and i'm not kidding - "Jason". they make the greatest smelling soaps, hand wash, and even all natural hair gel. it's the best gel i've ever used, and i've used them all. Burt's Bees makeup is all natural and they have the greatest concealer i've ever tried - better than clinique - and a wonderful range of lipstick colors - which is important because i just read that the average woman will consume i forgot how many pounds of lipstick in her entire life. xo

lol i used to pinch alll the time before i started wearing make up a few years ago. ohhh i've seen jason but i haven't tried anything but the shampoos yet. they have a funny smell that i don't like, but they make rosewater flavored stuff which is cool. i've started getting into burts bees too, i've switched from the clinique skin cleanser kit to burt's and its great! i love smelling like tomato haha. i'll have to give their make up a twirl too.

Hey Girls, I am really late for this party!
But I am a makeup fiend, and I even do makeup for bridal parties, so I have learned a trick or two!
To keep your blush on all day, make sure that you start with a good moisturizer. I swear by yves rocher pure calmille. Its camomile based which is great for my sensitive skin. Don't use cream blushers if you have oily skin it will come right off! MAC and Estee Lauder stay on really well. I use it to blend in my rosacea because I don't wear foundation due to sheer laziness. You can try a bit of powder on top to set it, or use a powder blush base and then the cream blush. The powder will grab the cream and shouldn't let go.
Oooh and the Oil of Olay (or Ulay depending on where you are) is no good for really sensitive skin, it has too many perfumes.
My husband got me a great clinique eyeshadow for christmas (what a man!). Its so sheer, but when the light hits it, it just glows. I love it!

i've started using blue eyeliner and shadow, so now my eyes don't look as brown. i finally realized that if i use blue, maybe it'll wash out the blue flecks in my eyes, hence letting the green show and stop making me eyes look brown. granted, its like a muddy green, but they definitely don't look so dull. yay

Yo, I treated myself yesterday and got my hair cut at Tonic Salonspa here in Montreal. It's an Aveda salon (the place I got the all-natural cinnamon shampoo). I'm not going to tell you how much it cost me but I will tell you this: Aveda products, free tea/coffee/ AND Scalp massage included! I have this great short, light, summertime haircut now. I was walking down St. Laurent in my new boots, haircut, velvet blazer and sunglasses thinking "All the kids on the street, they think I'm neat neat neat neat." As for the cinnamon shampoo, I'm not using it anymore. It and the conditioner dried out my hair something awful. But I got the Aveda Shampure, something I've used before and really liked. Also, if you have thick brown hair, their Sap Moss shampoo is also really good. I used that for a while before it got a little harsh on my scalp. But it was really good for bringing out natural highlights and texture. Also, it's a might pricey, but it's just so good....
