So shame on me! I am usually on message boards and hate it when people don't introduce themselves. I am such a hypocrite. Sorry! Anyway, my name is April. I'm a 19-year-old chick from Tennessee. My first LXIV show was in Nashville when they were opening for The Editors with Hot Hot Heat. I actually had never heard of them previous to the concert so I downloaded "Illegal Tender," "Finding Out . . ." and "Hall of Mirrors" to familiarize myself with them. I have to say that their live performance astounded me-- not to mention actually seeing who these [whom I thought were British] band members were. [I'll keep my personal thoughts to myself for a while. Heh.] All-in-all, two great opening acts, which I later found out were the only reason people came to that concert really. I couldn't have asked for more. ;D

Of course! I even got to go to the soundcheck. That's when I got hooked. But I personally prefer Florida. Except there aren't as many concert options! that's the fun of LA. concerts and parties. so what was the soundcheck like? I mostly remember it being FREEZING cold in there. But me and my two friends sat and watched and after, Brian came out and we were saying how cold it is and he's all, "It's not cold." Of course, he was wearing a jacket. He was really nice getting us in and all. Their tour manager was really...he didn't seem like he knew what was going on. I think he was new. But I'm not sure. Regardless, it was awesome. But yeah, I'm jealous of the concert selection here. Seriously. Not that I have money for them...found out today I'm in the red in my bank account, lol!

LOL when people ask what i do i'm like i go to shows. everything else is just to support my expensive lifestyle. Hey it's just not a diversion it's a vocation. haha ;D But then again I do get most of my tickets for free.... so it's more cost effective for me. You should get a patron to support your habits. Some one who understands the need to see music performed live. I am trying to cut back though. Save up for some more tangible goods.

Hello! I'm Jade, 18 from Leeds, England. My first Louis show was Belfast last month on their tour with The Killers. I've seen them them 3 more times since then. Had the pleasure of speaking to them all at various shows on the tour, sweet sweet guys. I think at the moment my favourite song would have to be 'Finding Out True Love is Blind', although I can't stop singing 'Turn the Light On' in my head! Anyway, nice to meet you all! I'm off to explore this fine board, hey indi!
